Welcome to Lutheran North Middle School home of the Jr. Crusaders! Lutheran North is a co-educational, private Christian school serving students in grades 6 - 8 who live in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

At Lutheran North, we embrace both diversity and individuality. We are an inclusive school, welcoming students from various Christian, socio-economic, academic, racial and ethnic backgrounds. We intentionally blend a strong curriculum with opportunities for co-curricular and athletic activities to help your child mature and grow as a young Christian. Together with your church and your family, we help your child grow in faith, develop as leaders and meet the challenge of new opportunities.

Built upon our college prep curriculum for Lutheran North High School, our middle school curriculum provides the foundation for students to excel today and achieve tomorrow.

A Day In the Life of a Jr. Crusader

The middle school teachers will teach core classes. These classes will meet every day.  The core classes include: Religion, English, Literature, Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics. The schedule will allow for middle school classes to use high school facilities, such as the science labs, Family and Consumer Science kitchens, art studio, computer labs, and the like. It will also allow 7th and 8th-grade students with a strong background in a particular subject area to take a high school course. (Algebra, Geometry, Concert Band, Spanish II, etc.)

Elective classes taught by Lutheran North's middle school or high school teachers, typically meet every other day and rotate throughout the year.  Electives include a wide assortment of options such as art, band, choir, family and consumer sciences, English as a second language, computer applications/keyboarding as well as programming/coding, modern languages, and PE/health.  All students will be required to take certain electives, such as physical education.
